Elegant and Dramatic Townhome Location: Manhattan, NY Price: $12,000,000 Listing Type: Townhouse Beds/Baths: 6/5.1 Year Built: N/A Bragging Rights: Great location on the Upper West Side. We're Looking At: The Master Bathroom Professional Opinion: This master bath is pretty perfect, in my opinion. It feels very "bygone era" to me. It's a bath out of an Edith Wharton novel.
11_247.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 2. Garden District Beauty Location: New Orleans, LA Price: $2,300,000 Listing Type: Single Family Beds/Baths: 6/8.0 Year Built: 1861 Bragging Rights: One of the prettiest places in the Garden District. We're Looking At: That Cute Little Bathroom. Professional Opinion: I love the small bathroom with the freestanding tub and the old-fashioned shower curtain. Use this idea at home to make small bathrooms conversation-worthy!
17_182.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 3. Renovated Landmark Location: San Francisco, CA Price: $10,250,000 Listing Type: Single Family Beds/Baths: 9/4.1 Year Built: 1900 Bragging Rights: One of Pacific Heights' most stunning mansions. We're Looking At: The Kitchen. Professional Opinion: Why cook? Well, this kitchen answers that question. Emphatically. I love the way it opens to the outdoor deck with a whole wall of French doors.
10_268.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 4. Brooklyn Elite Location: Brooklyn Heights, NY Price: $3,295,000 Listing Type: Single Family Beds/Baths: 3/3.1 Year Built: N/A Bragging Rights: Posh Willow Street (Truman Capote's old hood). We're Looking At: The Marble Bathroom. Professional Opinion: New York houses are killing it on the bathroom front. Here's another that's been redone to look old . . . and is absolutely stunning. Come on, rest of the country, catch up!
1_248.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 5. Crosby Loft Location: New York, NY Price: $3,995,000 Listing Type: Co-Op Beds/Baths: 3/2.0 Year Built: NA Bragging Rights: One of the hottest streets in one of the hottest 'hoods. We're Looking At: The Kitchen. Professional Opinion: This is a great loft in general, but what initially caught my eye was the phenomenal use of open shelving in the kitchen. So chic with all-white dinnerware!
19_165.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 6. Laurel Canyon Modern Location: Los Angeles, CA Price: $1,375,000 Listing Type: Single Family Beds/Baths: 3/2.0 Year Built: 1978 Bragging Rights: Designer-decorated home in a hot area of LA. We're Looking At: The Powder Room. Professional Opinion: I know Domaine's already given this advice on multiple occasions (and who am I to give decorating advice, anyways?), but the powder room is one of the best places to use a funky wallpaper.
140428_420_west_broadway-21.jpg.647x431_q100_crop 7. Soho Gallery Building Penthouse Location: New York, NY Price: $19,750,000 Listing Type: Co-Op Beds/Baths: 3/3.1 Year Built: 1900 Bragging Rights: Private garden overlooking Soho. We're Looking At: The Kitchen. Professional Opinion: I'm obsessed with this whole darn place, but that kitchen in particular. This spot is begging, absolutely begging, for a dinner party.
