Actress Jane Fonda has just listed
her expansive ranch near Sante Fe, NM for $19.5 million. On approximately 2,300 deeded acres, Forked Lightning Ranch, as it's named, boasts a 9,585-square-foot, Spanish Colonial-style main house (River House), a two-bedroom log house, a 2,125-square-foot guest house, a gym, and a 12-stall horse stable.
Through the property runs three-and-a-half flowing miles of the Pecos River, which is an oasis for a variety of Rocky Mountain wildlife and plenty of rainbow and brown trout. Fonda actually spent two years fly fishing, horseback riding, and hiking on the vast landscape to learn everything about the property before choosing the best location to build the best location for her house, which she situated in front of the river.
The house, which was recently featured in Architectural Digest
, is decorated with rustic antiques, vivid Navajo rugs, iron light fixtures, equestrian accents, Impressionist paintings, and other finds with New Mexican flair. Check out photos of the property below and visit the listing with Swan Land Company
